I am a writer, painter, and literary theorist drawn to the ways stories shape our relationships with the living world.

My work moves between the arts, the academy, and nonprofit life — from teaching literature and critical theory to advancing communications for climate and conservation initiatives.

I hold a PhD in English Literature and have taught for many years at the intersection of narrative, ecology, and social justice. My current writing and painting explore kinship, landscape, and the imagination as shared spaces of care and inquiry.
